Thinking, like, with a BRAIN!

The title has nothing to do with the image.

Draw-erase-draw-erase-draw... You know how it goes, sometimes. This is a L1-L2 drawing - mainly L1, actually.

Hm. I guess I should tell what that means. Sometime.

L stands for 'Level', more or less. usually this has the same meaning as in D&D, but sometimes it may refer to actual layers... although, that analogy can get horribly inaccurate when you start adding multiple elements to a single image.

Basically, a sketch is anything from L1 to L3, usually, while a finished product is practically never L1 - except with inks, sometime - and rarely L2. L3 is typical, and L4 is common. L5 is where you'll usually declare "Finished!", and rarely it goes beyond that. With pencils, anyway. In digital paint, it's possible to go to L20 or something silly, but it means you're either doing hyper-realism, or you don't really know what you're doing.

...spotted a mistake. Oh well, live and learn. Onwards!

Yes indeed! Onwards!

I didn't see much in the way of mistakes. Anatomy is always something to improve; it takes years to master, but it looks just fine. This is cartoonyness, not reality. Impressionism, m'boy, impressionism! ^_^

Rather interesting to see Terra there. It's a scene we've had in mind for quite a while now. It'll be really cool to get the chapter progressed along. :D

I'm not saying this is the way it goes, it's just one of the ways I'm looking at it.
